WORSHIP LIFE - Musical & Technical Ministry
Join us on the weekends and enter into uplifting worship and teaching. Weekend services include dynamic music, drama, media presentations and life-related messages based on the Bible to help you grow in your walk with God.
Worship Arts Teams
We really believe that Worship Arts Team are about community-building and finding one's place in our church family through serving. We welcome anyone and everyone interested in getting involved - whether it be as a musician, a singer, a technical volunteer (sound, lights, stage management, projection control) - or really any creative skill that you want to chip in. Skill and experience will grow, but are always secondary to a willing heart and eager spirit. If you are interested in being involved in Worship Arts in any way, don't hesitate to contact Pastor Nathan at ncarroll@staalliance.org or 780-418-7511.
Adult Worship Choir (resumes in the fall)
The Adult Worship Choir is open to everyone and anyone who wants to be involved in leading our congregation in singing on Sunday mornings (about once every 6-8 weeks). Taya leads this group that meets on Wednesday evenings at 8 pm at the church. It is a fantastic opportunity to receive excellent (and free) vocal training and enjoy community with others around singing. The Adult Worship Choir is for everyone - confident singers and less-experienced singers alike. For more information, contact Taya at tayaa@telus.net.
Jr. High Worship Choir (resumes in the fall)
We believe deeply in kids and students being in roles of leadership and love having them involved in our Sunday morning worship leadership. This group is an awesome opportunity for Jr. High students to plug into some awesome vocal training, learning parts and more advanced singing techniques than the elementary-aged kids. The Jr. High Worship Choir meets on Sunday mornings at the church. For more information, contact Taya at tayaa@telus.net.
Drama Ministry
At St. Albert Alliance Church, we want to explore the breadth of all of the artistic gifts that exist within our community. As part of this, a team has formed to develop, write, produce and perform dramatic elements. Involvement in Dramatic Arts does not only consist of Sunday morning worship services, but also drama workshops and designated drama coffee houses, as well as performances outside of our church building. There is a wide open door to people of all ages, all skill levels and interest to get involved in drama. For more information, contact Pastor Nathan at ncarroll@staalliance.org.
